Apparently so. It seems that ciabatta means "slipper" in Italian. Presumably because it's flat and not because Romans schlep around the palazzo in it on Saturday morning. | |

Whatever — it's great on our NEW Ciabatta Breakfast Sandwiches. These warm and delicious creations pile on scrambled eggs and melty shredded cheddar in addition to bacon, honey ham and sausage.
